Baby Mural
My good friends gave birth to their baby girl last July and was asked just before she was born to create a mural for them. I agreed and didn't realise how challenging it was even though they wanted a simple design. The wall didn't appear that big when I first agreed to do it but after two nights of it we got what we wanted to achieve. The design was simple and huge and perfect for the parents in the future to add their own ideas such as bunting along the branches, add shelves or picture frames of the friends and family over the design.

For those who love flowers
A random garden rose.
A hibiscus flower I walked past outside the restaurant in our hotel in Malaga.
At the beginning of November I spotted these lovely bunch outside a garden on the way to my Nan's.
Autumn in the garden.
You can also find my floral images on my Instagram: KLO_JONES
Experimental abstract piece for fun :)
For fun I experimented with acrylic, ink and markers for this abstract piece. I'm going to be adding stitch to it because I love mixed media work and I miss sewing. It was inspired by blurred lines and markings I could see around me without my glasses on (I'm short sighted). As it has been super hot lately here in Widnes I have gone with warm pinks and yellows but have broken up sections with blues to keep it interesting.
That one time in Widnes when it was America Day
I saw some beautiful classic American cars at Widnes bus station on my day off 6 weeks ago and it was a lovely surprise. You can find inspiration anywhere even at a bus stop.

Happy image!
Sometimes the Metro can be a bit depressing which I read most days on the way to work but sometimes an image or a story will catch my eye. Today it was this baby panda! Too cute!

Painting for my Sister's room
I used acrylics for a floral canvas for my sister's bedroom to go with her dark blue and green floral bed covers and fushia coloured curtains.

Time for tea
The heat is bad in Widnes so FM Cafe is ftw! Tea and cake not exactly refreshing but sweet and worth it.

Cutest jewellery box ever!
I saw this cute and spring inspired jewellery box in Asda. The flowers and bird makes it stand out. Love!

Book shopping!
In need of inspiration? I recommend TK Maxx any day! The books they have are random and inspiring. Most of the time cheaper than other retailers. They had close up books on space and the human body. I love organic shapes. The fashion book 'What on earth are you wearing?' is a lovely encyclopedia sketchbook of fashion.

Street art in Manchester
One of my favourite bars in Manchester is The Font Bar. It has a great atmosphere, music, food, drink and an amazing view outside opposite the bar. The graffiti art is always different, beautiful and inspiring. So I took this image whilst out on a mates birthday :)

How To Train Your Dragon
For fun I have been doing a few paintings for people and this is one I created for my bf. It has been a nice break and has gotten me back into painting because I have been mostly using pencils, pens and inks for my work. Can't beat an image of a dragon every now and again.

Wildlife
Things have been quiet lately my duties of being a carer have taken over everything but with my spare time I have been focusing on line work and now wildlife for a brief to keep me focused. Wildlife whether it's animals or plant life I enjoy it so much I am going to be working on it for a while.
