Jellies

I was inspired by jellyfish even with them being one of the scariest things on the planet and a source of some of my nightmares. I used the triangle as a base and layered over it with the quick ink marks, tipex and bleach to create a water like effect and make the jellyfish look as if they are floating.
It is available as a print and many other items in my Society6 page.

Organic details

Sections from some organic illustrations I have done. These are fun and using bleach creates lovely colours and is unpredictable with the marks. Shame I hate the smell.

Throwback Fashion Doodles

Sketchbook doodles and the one above is an erratic marker pen drawing over  tipex.

My favourite thing to do layering inked lines over each other that appear abstract but you can also see the different body shapes.

I love collage and layering with abstract figures. This is exciting and always no doodle is ever the same.

Spring organic illustrations

A few of my latest Spring organic illustration details. I had a lot of fun with these. Inspired by jellyfish, vines and branches I used inks, fine liner, tipex and bleach. They are available to view in full on my Society6 store. I incorporated geometric shapes around them.

The aftermath

I worked on my previous floral and mushroom illustrations and went a bit ink crazy. Some of it I am not happy with like the orchid. I am going to re work into some of them.

The inked abstract detail above is available at my Society 6 store :)

It's nearly Christmas!!!

A section of one of my quick Christmas illustrations using fine liner and blue inks. Once my scanner starts working again I will add some seasonal illustrations and more organic work to my Society6 profile.

Experimental abstract piece for fun :)

For fun I experimented with acrylic, ink and markers for this abstract piece. I'm going to be adding stitch to it because I love mixed media work and I miss sewing. It was inspired by blurred lines and markings I could see around me without my glasses on (I'm short sighted). As it has been super hot lately here in Widnes I have gone with warm pinks and yellows but have broken up sections with blues to keep it interesting.
